Pompano Beach, FL – The Bahama Relief Benefit concert known as “One Love” music concert is to be held at the local favorite venue of Pompano Beach Amphitheater in the heart of Pompano Beach, FL on February 8th, 2020. Title sponsor www.ucibahamas.com will collaborate with local sweetheart 501.C.3 charity Shipwreck Park foundation produced by Titan Music & Entertainment with tickets available through www.ticketmaster.com The “One Love” music concert and Bahamian village will see bands from Rock and Reggae join together to raise awareness and create funding for the ongoing clean up and rebuilding of the Bahama islands. UCI Bahamas initiatives are to build homes for the Bahamain islands devastated in September of 2019 from Cat 5 hurricane Dorian. No work on the island of Marsh Harbor, Abaco, Treasure Cay or their outlying tributaries has been restored. The Bahama islands are in ruins as if the storm had happened today with thousands of local residents, businesses, schools, churches, and communities, all gone from the storm.
Commencing on Saturday February 8th, 2020 with the “One Love” Bahama Relief Concert the first Bahamian families to receive homes will be announced live on stage. Local Bahamian government officials have vetted families from the upper and middle islands to be placed into the first built homes funded by national sponsors under UCI partnerships such as Home Depot, Camping World, United Rentals, Lennox, Polyglass, Tesla Energy, Sheetrock, Mapei, Georgia-Pacific, Assura, Planned Growth, Sundeck Yachts and Cemex. Director of Operations of UCI Bahamas, Tony Misuraca has organized his team and their efforts to build 3 spec homes that are fully funded by his contacts and sponsors that are supporting the “One Love” concert and UCI efforts to clean up and build the islands.
“The program is all about returning people to their homes, and giving back. These qualities do not have a limit,” says Director of Operations Tony Misuraca. “Our volunteers are mothers, mentors, students, and start up entrepreneurs who have much to offer the world and are chosen for how they are enriching their local communities.” – Tony Misuraca
